Hello! I am Avery JoAnn Cramer, the owner and creative of Clay Bloom Ceramics, established in 2023.

I am from Austin, Texas, and my passion for pottery began when I started teaching and eventually managing at Cordovan Art Studio at the age of 14. It was there that I truly fell in love with the art of ceramics. I have been creating and teaching ceramics since 2017.

I draw much of my inspiration from the hidden treasures and unique pieces of original art found in antique stores. There's something magical about discovering items with rich histories and stories of their own—whether it's a beautifully aged ceramic piece, a weathered painting, or a piece of forgotten decor. Each of these pieces carries a sense of nostalgia and craftsmanship that inspires my own work. I love to weave the timeless charm and character of these vintage finds into my ceramics, giving a modern voice to age-old artistry while creating something entirely new.
